How do I access Infonetica

To access the application portal, please go to https://rgeiapply.lstmed.ac.uk and you will be logged in automatically with your LSTM Single Sign-on credentials.

Can I access Infonetica at home?

Yes. Infonetica can be accessed at home using your LSTM Single Sign-on details on any computer on any network.

How do I create an application?

If LSTM the sponsor for your project, you need to begin the process by completing the 'Sponsorship and Delivery Partner Application Form'. When the Sponsorship and Delivery Partner Application Form is 'Approved in Principle', you will be able to begin your ethics application by adding an Ethics sub-form to the Sponsorship and Delivery Partner Application Form. If LSTM is not the Sponsor, please submit an ‘Ethics Application Main-form’.

Will my application automatically save as I complete it?

Your application will only save when you press ‘Next’ or ‘Previous’ so you will need to use the Save function to be certain your application is saved.

Can I delete my application?

Yes, you can delete a project if you have not submitted it. Once submitted, you can no longer delete the project, but you can withdraw it from review if the research is no longer going ahead.

How can I check the status of my application?

Applicants can check the ‘status’ of the form by going to the 'Work Area'. Under the project title, select the drop-down arrow, the ‘Form Status’ is displayed.

How do I make an modification to an already approved application?

To create an Amendment of an already approved application, (you can only create a sub-form when an application has been approved), select an approved project in the Work Area. Select the Create Sub Form tile, choose the 'Modification Form' sub-form.. The new forms will appear in a navigation interface at the top of the screen. A form will be part of the main branch, where as a sub-form will attach itself to the main form it is part of.
